Catching Up with Recent Grads
Kyna Alejandro c/o 2015, (4-year Song/Cheerleader) My high school experience was really fun because my class had a lot of spirit through all 4 years. We were really close as a class. I'm going to Glendale Community College then transferring to CSU LA or CSU LB. I'm planning on achieving a BSN and becoming a registered nurse. Advice: Cherish every moment of high school because it all happens in a blink of an eye, and the next thing you know, you'll be sitting at graduation.
Trevor Neri c/o 2015, (MESA, SHEP, Jazz Choir, Jazz Band, Concert Band) My experience was awesome in high school. I played piano a lot in and outside of school to help me get through my busy AP schedule. I'm going "UC Hancock" because I want to finish my general ed prior to leaving on my mission. I'm planning to go to BYU Provo afterwards and pursue a career in the medical field and a double major in music. Advice: "Learn for the purpose of learning, or at least try to love what you're leaning."
Aldrin Ysip c/o 2015, (Drama, Poetry Out Loud) High school was FUN. I was involved in drama club. I'm so proud to still have my picture on the mobile PVHS website though. I chose CSU LA because it's in Los Angeles and I wanted to get into nursing but still wanted to be a part of theatre. To current high school students: Don't make bad decisions, but have fun because going to college is important.

Panthers Dominate Main Street, 28-0

This Friday’s game was the most pumped up since the season started. It was another victory for our Panthers. We had a winning score of 28-0 with Joseph Gonzalez and Anthony Estrada both scoring two touchdowns each. The Varsity team did a great job of representing Pioneer Valley High school, showing our strength, and the students did a great job of being enthusiastic and showing our unity.
“The win against Santa Maria High school meant a lot to us because we prepared every day for it and it was a huge victory.”
– Ricardo Gamino #61
“I was excited that we won because Ellington guaranteed a win and we proved him wrong.” Adolfo Juarez #85
“It was an expected win no doubt about it.” –Johnny DeLeon #51
“I felt like scoring at the varsity level was a big accomplishment.” –Joseph Gonzalez #5
“It was exciting because the crowd was loud and pumped up and so were the athletes. There was not a dull moment during the entire game.” –Madison Skaufel (Varsity Cheerleader)

Hatchi is a virtual pet with a retro-looking design. This game gives you the nostalgia from the 90's game Tamagotchi. With this app, you take care of a virtual pet that you can hatch from an egg of your choosing. There are multiple eggs types available, each with a different outcome: original egg, mysterious egg, mountain egg, botanical egg, and the alien egg. You'll be able to watch over your own pet and influence how it evolves. Similar to real life, there are 5 stages to its life: egg, baby, child, teenager, and adult. The way you take care of your Hatchi influences how they will grow up.
You will get attached to this pet of yours. It gives you their favorite food, their worst food, and their personality (calm, silly, pretentious, etc). There are also 6 mini-games you could play by yourself or someone else with a Hatchi for coins. With coins, you can buy buffs, eggs, foods, colors, etc. This game has so much in it, all for free! Go and relive the Tamagotchi era by downloading the app Hatchi in the App Store or Google Play!
