Panthers Battle the Eagles in the Jungle Tonight!

Isaac Renteria #88 (Wide Receiver) is excited for tonight's game. “Got to put in work to get that win every Friday.”

Tonight’s Varsity and JV football games will be played at home as they take on the Arroyo Grande Eagles. Talking to some of the varsity football players, it seems that they are going to have to put in even more effort this week to get the win. Make sure to go and show your Panthers some love!

Michael Tapia #12 (Back-up Quarterback) has confidence in tonight's game. "We've worked pretty hard so far and we'll continue to work harder and harder as time goes on.”

Cheesy Panther Pickup Lines

''If I could rearrange the alphabet, I would put 'U' and 'I' together." We've all experienced some of the most cheesy of pickup lines- and I'm not just talking about a line of pickup trucks *ba dum tss!* We all know that one guy or gal that can make the worst, most cheesy pickup line. We try to tune them out, but sometimes we can't help but laugh, shake our heads, or give them a smack! Here are just some of the worst pickup lines out there.

Yearbooks On Sale Now!

There has been an ongoing debate whether the price of the yearbook is really worth buying it. So, is it really worth it?

"A yearbook is a collection of memories of you and your friends and their friends too; it will last forever," said Mr. Howard. Later on in life, if you are a parent or even a grandparent, a yearbook is what you can use to show the later generations what you were like back in the good ol’ days.

"It's a tangible thing to be carried with you wherever your life takes you. With it, you will always have access to your PVHS memories," explained Howard. The yearbook is a symbol of reminiscence and the best times of your high school experience.

Students may say that the yearbook is too expensive, but considering how big the book is, it's fairly reasonable. A college textbook costs considerably more and is no doubt much less interesting! So remember that $95 is a steal and is something the members of the Yearbook Staff personalized for you, the students of PVHS!

"It's fun to look at yourself!" said Editor in Chief of Yearbook, Jessica Pena (12). If being in the yearbook for sports, clubs, senior photos, dances, and spirit days seems pretty cool, go out and buy one! Yearbooks are on sale now, so make your PV years picture perfect.
