Are You a Shopaholic?
Fashion has changed and evolved so much over the years. Having the best clothes at school has become a huge trend. Most students want to have what's popular and what they think would look good on them. They want the best clothes, the best accessories, the best shoes, etc. Many teens have developed a love of shopping. The clothing that someone decides to buy allows them to express themselves in their own way.

The Shel Silverstein Project
Mr. Paulus’ 3D class listened to four different Shel Silverstin poems from the collection found in The Light in the Attic.. Each group then selected one poem and designed and then created a visual scene that demonstrated the feeling and details given in the poem. The first poem was Cloony the Clown. The second poem was Hippo’s Hope (which has three different endings: happy, unhappy or chicken. The group choose the first). The third poem was The Twistable, Turnable Man, and the forth The Dragon Of Gringly Grun. The students were given a total of three weeks to draw up designs, paper mache, paint and organize the scene. The works are to be displayed in the work space in the lower 300 for the week of September 14 thru 18. Teachers who are interested in judging the works will be given a score sheet and asked to answer four questions about each work. The first question deals with the creativity level of the work. The second question asks about the workmanship, the third question asks if the work tells the story, and the fourth question asks if the viewer is engaged with the work (does it interest the judge).

Life Hacks
If you are too tired to hold your phone, you can use a pair of glasses to prop your phone up when showing a video to your friends.
Fill plastic water bottles a quarter of the way full with water. Lay it on it's side and put it in the freezer. When it's frozen, you can fill it with water and have ice cold water on the go.
Have a headache but you don’t have Advil? Chewing on a wooden pencil helps temporarily to relieve the pain.
Post-it Note hack: color the top edge of the sticky note with a felt marker, so you'll always know which side has the adhesive backing.
