PVHS Art Show "Arts Alive" Dazzles All

The art students here at PV were given the opportunity to display their hard work and creativity at the art gallery. Throughout the school year the art students have developed their artistic abilities which enabled them to showcase their masterpieces. This opportunity gave the students a well deserved recognition. It was also a chance for the art teachers to display their achievements: artistic students. The students created different forms of art ranging from mix media to drawings.

"This was our second year of doing the art gallery. It’s bigger than last year and I think it will continue to grow. Last year it was only a one day thing, but this year it’s two days. More and more people are coming up." -Mr. Paulus

"In a way I feel honored because it’s something I created and it means a lot to me." - Maria Dumadara (12)

"It is very creative how they use CDs and card board as art. I liked how they used something that you find in the trash and turned it into art." -Alejandro Vega (9)

"I think it shows a lot of variety and diversity between art styles."

-Bella Aguilar (12)

"The art gallery is very cool and nice. I created one of the painted eggs in the gallery." -Elektra Garcia (11)

"Walking through the Arts Alive Exhibit today, I am once again reminded of the wealth of talent we have at PV.”

-Mrs. Barnum
