Mr. Marino's Wizarding School

For the few classes full of seniors in Mr. Marino's British Literature, the week leading up to spring break was very exciting. As the classes read Harry Potter for fun, they all had to get into groups and create their very own magic Wizarding School. The whole English department came out and viewed all the schools created. The wizards were prompted to show off their school to questioning passer byers. The students had to show what courses were provided, what the school would look like, what uniforms are worn, what the dorms look like, and everything involved with a working magic school. But, to top the cake, each group of wizards had to dress up like their wizards would. A Harry Potter inspired project really can be magical. This project was for a grade but was also a lot of fun for most student wizards. So, what school would you love to attend?

"It wasn't hard but it wasn't easy. But what I can take out of it was that it was pretty fun working on it and it wasn't a drag." Miguel Iniguez (12)

"It was difficult because there was a lot of other steps to it. The book (Harry Potter) was easy so it kind of reflected on the project and it was pretty fun." Brianna Sanchez (12)

"The people in the group were able to connect and captivate an experience that was out of proportion that was like any other." Carlos Gonzalez (12)

Justin Bieber Concert is Amazing

It was a beautiful sunny day in San Jose, California. The freeway was full, but slowly moving forward. My two older sisters and I got dropped off at the SAP Center, because parking there would be a complete nightmare. When we finally arrived, the lines were full of excited teens, adults, and children. My sister and I didn’t realize that we had gotten into the VIP line but they didn't ask for the VIP pass, so we got to go in first. As we entered, we noticed we were practically the first ones there, and we went straight to the snack bar, so that we were prepared later on for the concert. We soon found our seats on the left side of the stage and had a great view. Our seats were great, in my opinion, because we were pretty close up. Everyone around me was in an excited and joyful mood, patiently waiting in anticipation for the concert to begin.

When Justin entered the stage, the crowd went wild! We were all dancing and singing along throughout the night. Justin’s performances were amazing because he had a trampoline, waterfall, and several other amazing attractions. It finally ended around 10:30 PM and everyone was ready to go home from a crazy, fun night. It was a great adventure that I went on with my sisters. The Justin Bieber tickets were a gift for Christmas from my oldest sister to both me and my other sister. I had an amazing time. It's funny, because I have only have been to one other concert which was also a Justin Bieber concert, but it was at the Mid State Fair in 2011. All in all, I am so lucky to have been able to attend this concert and experience this all with loved ones. It was such an unforgettable night and I will definitely remember it for a long time.

Weekly Clash Royale Review

Card Name: Skeleton Army

Rarity: Epic

Type: Troop

Rating: 7/10

Review: The Skeleton Army is one of the best defensive cards in the game. It can kill any bulky troop type card heading towards your tower in seconds. However the Skeleton Army card is also weak in the fact that the whole army can be destroyed in one swoop with arrows, the fire ball, or rocket. Especially the almighty Baby Dragon card, it turns the Skeleton Army into Swiss cheese. However because of its great defensive skill against bulky troop types, and its barely alright offensive, for these reasons I give the Skeleton Army a score of 7/10.Next week I review the Minions card
