Career Day

-Joana Yanez

Career day seems to be very popular amongst PV students. This day helps the students figure out what they might like to be or do in the future and gives them a head start and informs them. There were many types of exhibits, like colleges, businesses, organizations, military programs, and many more that attended PV’s career day this past Friday. Fancy posters, interesting machines, and informative projects were presented; it amazed many students. There were careers represented that students didn't have a clue existed. Many Panthers took this time to appreciate the information that was given to them.

Nancy Cabrera (10),”I think career days are helpful in a lot of ways. It helps me know all the options I have and it helps me see the type of jobs I can choose from. It helps me because I can ask questions about a career I'm interested in and the person can help out with giving me the information I need to know for that specific career.”

Esther Perez (11)” I think that is good for students since it helps us to know more about schools, it helps me since they give me info on colleges and careers. I liked it because I learned about careers that I did not know about and some got my attention.”
