SB County Architecture Competition

-Christina Bulosan

This past Tuesday, 6 students in our architecture program participated in a competition at Santa Ynez High School. Their main project was to design a children's sensory exploration center. There had to be an area for each of the 5 senses in which children could interact with the displays using mostly one of their senses. Necessities for public buildings were also required such as bathrooms, parking, etc. Our contestants had a lot to do in such little time. They were all required to create a site plan, floor plan, and a front elevation. Mr. Howard, industrial technology teacher, claims, "This was a huge project. It's the biggest one that I could recall." Overall, the competition was an incredible experience and lots of fun to our Panthers. Great job!

"It was a fun learning experience on what architects have to do."

"It was a new opportunity that was a pleasure to participate in. I was running out of time, so I did a big window for sight."

Movie Review: Zootopia

Zootopia is a world where animals are like regular people. They walk, talk, have a job, and they live in peace, as both preys and predators. The story is about a rabbit, Judy Hopps, who dreams of becoming a police officer in the main city, Zootopia. Many times, people thought that she would not achieve of becoming a police officer. She proved them all wrong. She worked the hardest she can and became the top of her class. She moves to Zootopia and is ready to face the challenges that the city would provide. Yet, everyone still thinks she is too small to work for real cases.

Many animals are disappearing throughout the city. Judy risks her career to find one of the missing animals. She teams up with a fox, Nick Wilde, who is sly to her and the whole world. These unlikely partners would try to solve the case that is changing some of the animals into aggressive preys. That’s breaking the peace that they have live on.

This Disney movie is a nice and cute movie, of course, to watch with your friends and family. There are funny and sad moments throughout the movie. Once you think about Zootopia, it has hidden messages. It lets you think about what is happening in the world today. I found it delightful to watch, and I'm sure you and your family will too.

Weekly Clash Royale Review

Card Name: Baby Dragon

Rarity: Epic

Type: Troop

Rating: 11/10

Review: The Baby Dragon card is literally the best card in the game. Honestly nothing compares to the range and power of the Baby Dragon. Some experts might argue that either the Prince or the legendary Princess card is the true best card in the game, however my studies show that they are just in denial because they do not want the Baby Dragon to be known as the best card in the game. The Baby Dragon can affectively wipe out any other form of troop type cards, and boasts the ability to not be able to be hit any ground troop cards, for these collective reasons I gave the Baby Dragon the rating of 11/10.

Next Week I review Skeleton Army.
