Blood Drive
"Well first of all yes, I will be donating because I am hosting it and my reasoning behind it is to promote giving back to others and also maybe even saving a person's life. This year has been filled with tragedies and well, this hopefully will prevent someone from becoming one. With that I encourage others to donate, so they can help someone in need. It only takes 20 minutes at the most. We will be feeding you a snack, and it counts for community service!" - Diego Cardenas (12)

We've all fallen into the death trap of boredom. You simply lie on the ground, staring blankly at the ceiling as if it's more interesting than your life. Staring into the pits of oblivion; your mind boring into thoughts you've never thought before.
However, there are ways of getting through it. Whether it be reading a good book or playing some video games, boredom is inevitable but also escapable. Here are some fellow Panthers and their advice on how what to do when you're bored.
VOTER FRAUD STRIKES AT PV
-Jasmin Ramos
There have been rumors that a couple of PVHS students committed fraud for this years voting class officials but we are not sure which students did it. Here is what Ms. Walters has to say about it all:
What Happened?
"We had some vote irregularity. We had people voting using other students ID numbers."
What are you going to do about it?
"We are re-voting on Thursday and Friday. It will be a paper and pen ballot. We're investigating and trying to find out who did what. There is going to be disciplinary action."
How are you going to prevent this from happening again in the future?
"Students have to put both their first and last names to vote. We're seeing what's going to happen in the future."
How do you feel about it?
"I'm very disappointed in our students that feel the need to cheat to win an election. It makes me very sad that students would come to that."
Ms. Walters also said, "Voting will be during first period and lunch on Thursday and Friday. The ballots will be counted during sixth and seventh. Then there will be voting again on Friday and those votes will be added to the first day and that will get a total. If any student was unable to vote because of their number being used falsely or if you have any information about the students that have committed this fraud, please come talk to me."
