How to Ask for a Valentine’s Date

Valentine’s Day is coming up and many couples are getting ready for their perfect date with their bae. Single people on the other hand, are thinking of ways to ask their crush to be their Valentine or just staying at home, eating discount chocolate, and watching Netflix. But why be by yourself on this lovey-dovey day, when you can be around friends or that special someone. Here are few tips from our Panthers on how to ask the person of your dreams, or just a regular guy or gal, to be your Valentine’s Date and where you should take them.
Luigi V (12, on the right) “Not going to lie, I’d hit her up on Facebook or any other social media site. After she says yes, on Valentine’s Day I’d take her to Red Robin or some type of restaurant.”
Malcolm Tyler (12, on the left) “Go on Instagram or Twitter, and slide in her DMs. Then, if she actually does want to be my Valentine’s Date, I’d take her to the movies.”
“I’d like the guy to ask me to be his date, but if I were to ask him, I’d just go straight up to him and ask him. Then after that, if we had to go out and eat, I’d take my friends to go out with us.” Vanessa Tafoya (9)
“I’d walk up to her with a stuffed bear, chocolates, and flowers and then ask her sweetly if she can be my date. When she says yes, I’d take her out to a Mexican Restaurant.” Cris Belmonte-Zoto (12)
“I’d bring some chocolates and then just go up to the guy and ask him. If he said yes, then on our date, we’d go bowling.” Lupita Rios (10)
What Are You Wearing to Sadies?

The Sadie Hawkins dance is known for its unique invitation tradition; the girl usually asks the guy to the dance. It changes it up because the girls have the advantage of asking anyone that they want to ask. The other Sadies tradition is that dates/friends usually match.
Sadies is not an event that you have to get all glammed up for. You can dress as casual as you would dress on any day of the week, which is nice because when you're dancing you won't have to get all sweaty in your nice expensive dress. There are many ways to match at Sadie's. All the different styled t-shirts give you lots of options to choose from. Here are some different styles that were worn by Panthers in the past:
