Super Bowl Halftime Show Best in Years

The Super Bowl is the most popular sports event where millions of people are watching and millions of dollars are being spent just on one minute commercials and advertisements. Though the actual game and the commercials hold the audience's attention tightly, the halftime show causes a spark (literally) on the football field.
This year for the 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl, Beyonce, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars all performed together to hold yet another incredible halftime show. Coldplay playing its famous "Viva la Vida," Bruno Mars dancing himself and his crew into the performance, and Beyonce's entrance at the end of a drumline/band, really gave the show a pop and had its audience jumping up and down, even at home. Having a tribute to previous halftime shows in the past decades was a huge aspect of this year's show.
"The halftime show was pretty good. My favorite part was when Beyonce saved herself from falling during her performance. She's a goddess for being able to do that in heels!" Mitzi Meza (12).
"The performances of all 3 artists were really great. I'm not a big fan of Beyonce, but I still really loved the performance by her as well as Bruno Mars and Coldplay. It's got to be one of the better ones I've watched during the Super Bowl.” Ms. Brown

Valentine's Day Dream Date

Valentine's Day as we all know is a day where love-struck couples set out on a sweet date. Sadly, some panthers are solo riders who can only dream of that Valentine rendezvous. Here are a few dream dates PV singles have imagined would sweep them off their feet and have them feeling the love on Valentine's Day.
"Well since it's my birthday, I would love to go on an adventure date where we could hike and visit a bunch of local museums. In general, I would basically visit a lot of places till I'm exhausted to the point where I would instantly sleep and call it a good Valentine’s Day." Stacy Contreras (12)
"My perfect date would be a picnic in the park for lunch and then hanging out until dinnertime where we would just order pizza and watch movies. Just a simple date would be perfect." Gabriella Ochoa (9)
"Dinner. There would be a bunch of rose petals and a great meal. The couple will be having a great time and laughing."
