How Do You Style Your Coat?

-Jasmin  Ramos

Coats are typically popular in the fall to winter seasons and are commonly army green, black, tan, or maroon. There are so many different types and styles of coats. They help keep you warm and comfortable but they are also fashionable. They can instantly make a simple outfit look so much more put together. I interviewed a few panthers to see what they had to say about styling their coats:

Eduardo Enriques (12), "I wear my coat as an everyday jacket in the winter time."

Cinthya Meza (12), "I style my coat by simply adding a scarf and a blouse."

Jose Gonzalez (11), "I like to wear my coat with solid colors."

Diana Basulto (12), "I typically like coats like bomber jackets, which I usually style with just a t-shirt, ripped jeans, and some ankle boots."

Daniel Geiger Qualifies for Teen Star

-April Chavez

Read all about it! Daniel Geiger is a fellow panther that now has the honor of being able to perform in this year’s 2016 Teen Star Santa Barbara singing competition. Daniel will be representing Pioneer Valley and at the same time singing his heart out. I sat down with Daniel to ask him how he felt about the audition, passing the audition, and how he feels about the upcoming event.

“The audition was really fun and the judges were so kind. After I was done they said they loved me. I got a little shy, but they made me feel comfortable at the same time. They also gave me constructive criticism and I love that because it helps me become a better performer. When I found out I passed the audition and was able to participate in the competition, I was SO HAPPY and jumping off the walls like a Looney Tunes cartoon. Honestly I am very nervous about this, but I am so happy and looking forward to everything that’s coming my way.” –Daniel Geiger
