Spring Semester Self-Improvement
-Alexis Dagar & Melanie Naraval
Now that the new semester is here, it gives people the chance to prove that they can improve themselves (whether it being academically with school, or socially with one's friends). However, it may be difficult for some people to bring themselves back up. Overwhelmed with questions such as: "Where do I start?" Or "How can I better myself?" Well, you're in luck. Here's some advice that can help you achieve good grades or make some new friends for the new semester:
Adan Ortiz (9) "My advice for school would be to not get in trouble and study like it's always finals week. Socially, just be yourself and if that doesn't work, become Batman. Everyone likes Batman and don't say otherwise."
Keren Vega (9) says, "Some advice that I would give when it comes to school is to try your best in everything you do. If you don't succeed at first, keep trying. Socially, you can join clubs or sports that you're interested in, so you could make friends whom you have a common interest with."
Anthony Ilaban (12) advice is "If you have dedication and a positive attitude, you can do it. But you also need to pace yourself and don't procrastinate. Socially, again, have a positive attitude. Find people you don't know around campus. Be happy and always smile."
