Girls' Varsity Soccer Edges Out Win Over Paso, 1-0

Kasandra Bright (11)
"Our game against Paso was a good game, though, we should've scored more because there were a lot of opportunities given to us. My uncles inspired me to stay dedicated and passionate about soccer, and I have been ever since I was 5 years old. I want to be able to make my uncles proud and I know one day I will."

Hello, it's me! These are just some small 'comics' that I drew. I know that I'm not that great at drawing (obviously) but these are just some things I've experienced- to an extent- and I hope some of these are relatable to you too!

Boys' Varsity Soccer Beats Paso, 3-2

"Congratulations to the Boys' Varsity Soccer team for their 3-2 win against Paso Robles Wednesday - Goals by Jose Rios, Joseph Aquino and Carlos Vazquez. The PV team now is in first place in the PAC 8 league. Way to go Panthers."

-Coach Brafman

Elias Bautista (12)
"On the field, it's always intense. We're forced to stay focused and think quickly. The game against Paso was the perfect example. They pressured us to play at the top of our game, and we did. Soccer has gotten me to learn a lot of life lessons. It also keeps me really close to some of my best friends."

Victor Diaz (12)
"Coming into the game, the whole team comes prepared, and ready to play our hearts out. We all know that we have the potential to get that three peat this season, so we play hard in all games like we did against Paso. We try to play high intensity soccer from start to finish. Soccer is so important to me, because I'll be looking back to the memories I'm making with my team years from now. I want to be able to smile and not regret any games. I'd like to leave a mark before my soccer career is over and I have to move onto reality."

Joseph Aquino (11)
"In the game against Paso, it should not have been a struggle to obtain the win, since we are the way better team. We were up 3-0, but we ended up 3-2. We can really learn from this because we are capable of scoring, but we must improve defensively. We are off to a great start this season and there should be no reason or excuse that impedes us from winning the league championship. Soccer to me, is a part of my life that is irreplaceable."
